What I Got in my Radiance Voxbox!

Hey everyone! I wanted to show you all what I got in my Radiance Voxbox from Influenster and share my thoughts on each product! (In other words – a review. It’s been a hot minute. I miss this.) I’m super pumped because this could not have come at a better time. I just finished my last semester of school, and every single product I received is perfect for a much needed day of rest and recovery.

If you haven’t already, be sure to sign up for Influenster! It’s a great way to connect with other like-minded people about all things beauty, fashion, food and more. It’s the first place I go to read reviews about products I want to try out, and I always make sure to leave my own honest reviews on products to help other people out. The best thing is, everyone has a chance to receive free products. Who knows, by the time Influenster’s next Voxbox launches, I may be reading one of your reviews!

Clean and Clear Acne Triple Clear Scrub

CLAIMS: Fights breakouts in 3 ways, leaving your skin clearer and happier

Way back in junior high and high school, before I was introduced to the world of skincare, I was a huge fan of the Clean and Clear line. To be honest, I haven’t used Clean and Clear products since, but I can happily confirm that not much has changed since I remember. Clean and Clear still got it!

The thing that I really love about this scrub is that I can feel that it is working. Besides the obvious fact that this is an exfoliating scrub, it makes my skin feel tingly, so I feel as if its really getting deep into my skin  and cleaning my pores (and even if it isn’t, it feels like it is. ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS YALL!). A lot of people worry about scrubs irritating their skin, but I didn’t find this to be harsh on my skin at all. If anything it made my skin feel super smooth! (Full disclaimer: I don’t have acne prone/extremely sensitive skin!)

Being By Sanctuary Shower Burst – Hibiscus and Coconut Water

CLAIMS: Fluffy foam leaves you feeling soft and smelling amazing

I’m not going to lie, I didn’t have very high hopes for this. Shower gels never really wow me or leave a lasting impression on me. And in most ways, this is your normal shower gel. But that isn’t to be confused with average, because this most definitely is not your average shower gel. I pumped way too much in my hand and was literally laughing in the shower because I was not expecting it to foam up and expand so much! I was so entertained! With that being said, a little does go a long way. The scent is amazing and I loved that it lingered on my skin after I got out of the shower, yet wasn’t too strong. My skin was so smooth after (always remember to moisturize with body lotion to lock it all in!)

Also, I thought I should add that if you’re into slime, you could probably use this to make iceberg or crunchy or any type of slime that uses shaving cream. #NOTconfirmed, but it’s the same consistency as shaving cream! And yes… I have fallen victim to the world of slime. All my bookmarks on Instagram are slime videos that I like to watch when I’m bored/feeling anxious. And the foam that was used in this picture was dumped into my pre-existing slime.

Revlon Kiss Balm & Exfoliating Balm – Berry Burst

Can I just say, my nail tech is a miracle worker!

RETAILS FOR: $6.99 each or $9.99 for the two pack

CLAIMS: Real sugar polishs away dryness, while natural fruit oils give you 24 hours of hydration

This isn’t a product that would grab my attention on the shelves, but I’m glad I received this because I now have a handy balm and exfoliating duo that I can throw in my purse. Although this is a duo, I think you could definitely use each product on it’s own. The exfoliator is so good! There’s real sugar in it, so it dissolves away quickly, leaving your lips super smooth and minty fresh (is that a term you can use to describe lips??)

In terms of the actual balm itself, this will definitely give you that fresh, spring ready look, if that’s what you’re into. I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone who wants or needs colour on their lips. It’s very, very sheer and leaves the tiniest hint of berry on your lips.  This is perfect for makeup minimalists or even for that tween/pre-teen in your life who is starting to show an interest in makeup (my 9 y/o cousin has been starting to wear glitter on her cheeks and light shadow on her eyes to family parties, and she was the first person I thought of when I tried this on my lips. If you aren’t ready to start them off on actual makeup, this could be a nice gift to give to them because it isn’t bright and in your face, but it isn’t kids makeup children either!) My favourite thing about this balm is that it has SPF! Perfect protection for the sunnier days, which we haven’t been getting much of here in Calgary.

Flawless By Friday UnderEye Rescue Mask

CLAIMS: Reduces puffiness and dark circles and boosts collagen production

First of all, let me just say that this undereye mask got me feeling bougie. I feel like gold and honey (which are the star ingredients in this mask) makes anything instantly luxurious. This is the first time I’ve used undereye masks, so I really don’t have anything to compare these to. I will mention that these stayed put for the entire time I had them on, and they were definitely cooling! I didn’t see a noticeable difference in my dark circles, but there was a slight change in the puffiness of my eyes. Maybe this is a product you have to keep using in order to get the full effect? This is great as a quick fix, but don’t expect miracle results after one use.

And that concludes what I got n my Radiance Voxbox! It’s always so cool being able to receive these products for free from Influenster. Like I said, if you haven’t already, sign up for Influenster! It’s a great way to try out new products for free and it’s a fun platform to share your thoughts on products with other like minded people.

Hopefully, I’ll see you beautiful people around soon! I have a burst of motivation and I don’t want to lose it!

💖, B
