Another month has flown by! May was a really good month for me. ALBOE turned 1, I got the chance to spend a lot of quality time with people and through keeping up with consistent workouts, I’ve been feeling myself getting stronger and seeing those baby gainzzzz come in! Of course, I’m still beginning, but wow, I’ve been feeling really good lately. I think it also has a lot to do with the nice weather. But anyways. Here are all the things I’ve been loving this month. You’ll notice this list is pretty random and all over the place tbh, but I think that makes monthly favourites posts really fun.
Hey hey! It’s that time of the month again. Hehe. Here’s a sneak peek into my bullet journal for the month of May. Still trying to keep it minimal, so like last month, I used one colour and a black pen. I finally got Pilot pens, so this month looks so crisp and nice. Such basic words used to describe how pleased I am, but you’ll understand once you see it. If you want to see the layouts I created from past months, then click here!
One of my favourite songs on Future’s HNDRXX is his song with The Weeknd, called Coming Out Strong. This MOTD was inspired by that song, in particular by my favourite line in the song that says “They said I couldn’t reach Mars, so I turned to a star”. When I think of turning into a literal star, I think of a lot of glow and brightness, and I thought it would be fun to translate that into a makeup look. I also got a bunch of new Colourpop shadows, so I really wanted to incorporate them into this look. I haven’t done a MOTD in a while, and it was fun to use new products, as well as products I already own, but don’t use on an everyday basis. Kind of challenging, but I am so pleased with how this look turned out. If you’re curious to see how the look turned out, hit that read more!
I think the most frustrating, yet rewarding part of doing my makeup is creating the perfect wing. Most days, I miraculously get it right on the first try, and other days I’m struggling for ten minutes before I give up and leave the house with janky eyeliner (which I don’t recommend lol NEVER give up on your eyeliner if you can help it). So I’ve compiled a bunch of tips and tricks that I use to help me create my wing the way I like, and maybe it’ll help you too!
I didn’t really have a post planned for today, but I kind of just wanted to sit and write about some things that have been on my mind lately. I mean this is called alittlebrittofeverything, and it wouldn’t be alittlebrittofeverything, if I constantly write about everything and never keep you updated on the Britt part.
Hi everyone! Before I begin, I just wanted to apologize for not posting on Tuesday. I thought that since I am in summer mode, I would have lots of time to dedicate to my blog, but that really hasn’t been the case. I’ve been working more, and when I’m not working, I’ve been spending a lot more quality time with friends and family and enjoying the beautiful weather we’ve been having lately! I’m sure you all understand though.
Anyways, my boyfriend and I finally got the chance to visit the National Music Centre in Studio Bell (or is it the other way around? Idk. This always confused me…). The last time we were planning on going, we didn’t check ahead, and found out it was closed after paying for parking. Bummer. CJ is a DJ (please don’t make jokes and call him CJ The DJ. LOL. He hears it all the time. It’s not funny anymore.) and absolutely LOVES anything and everything to do with music, so he had the time of his life. Even if you aren’t a music aficionado, like myself, I feel like this is the kind of place where everyone can have fun and learn something. I also just really love museums, so I loved being here. I included some pics under the read more if you’re interested in seeing what we got up to. As always, thank you for reading, and I hope to see yall soon!
WOW! My blog is already a year old! Can you believe it? I can’t. When I think back to a year ago, I honestly never would have thought ALBOE would be where it is today. I’m not saying that I’m huge and successful by any means, but I never would have imagined that I would be getting constant positive feedback from a lot of people, that I would have people who always keep up to date with my posts and that I would be able to write posts on behalf of other brands!
