March Favourites

I apologize if you’re seeing this post again! I completely forgot I had it scheduled for today at 12, but I also forgot to insert pictures and edit the post. My mistake hehe.

Another month done! I’ve felt so refreshed this month, and I’ve been really investing more time in my blog (I hope you can tell hehe). I challenged myself to stick to a posting schedule, every Tuesday and Friday, and it’s been working out pretty well for me. It forces me to spend more time than ever on my blog, and come up with creative ideas, and it keeps me accountable. I think from now on, I’m going to try and stick with it and post every Tuesday and Friday and see where that leads me.  Hopefully it also gives you something to look forward to (or just something to read) on those days. I’ve been getting a lot of positive feedback this month, and it really motivates me, so thanks to everyone for their kind words!

To be honest, this months faves are kind of random since I didn’t try many makeup/beauty products this month. Nonetheless (wow I really just used that word), I hope you enjoy, and let me know about some of your favourites!

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Mad Max Brown

I got this liner a while ago in a sample bag from Sephora, but I never used it until recently. Mainly because it was brown and I only use black eyeliner LOL. But it’s pretty dark and not very noticeable. I also had never used the tattoo liner before and I know that so many people use it and love it so I was pretty curious to see if it would live up to the hype. It does. The point is so sharp, so you can achieve that sharp wing easily and the formula itself stays put throughout the entire day. I find that removing it at the end of the day does require a bit of effort because it doesn’t budge.

Wet N Wild Highlighting Powder

I don’t know if I should include this, since I’ve only used it for the last two weeks of March. BUT I have been using it over Champagne Pop, and I really love it. I won’t go into too much detail though, because I wrote a review on this highlighter, which you can read here!

The Compound Effect by Darren Hardy

This book was a birthday gift from my best friend, and I think this book has sparked my new found love for self-development books (and reignited my love for reading). It’s basically about how implementing small changes in your life now can have big, positive effects in your life later. And this relates to all aspects of life, relationships, money, your career… I think this has probably been the one thing that has motivated me to constantly look for ways to improve myself. This book couldn’t have come into my life at a more perfect time, and I would recommend this book to everyone!

I had never really heard of bullet journaling until this year. I always admired how pretty people could make them and also how it gives you the freedom to express yourself in whatever way you want. I am someone who loves writing things down, and this is perfect because I can track things that I normally wouldn’t put into my regular planner. I’m not the most artistically inclined person, but keeping a bullet journal has challenged me to express my creativity in a different way than I’m used to. Also, this colour just speaks to my soul.

Future – HNDRXX

I’m not gonna lie, I’ve never been into Future. My brother and sister have been listening to this album wherever we go, so I decided to listen to it on my own, and I surprised myself at how much I liked it. My favourite songs are Comin Out Strong, Fresh Air, Testify and Selfish.

If you know me in real life, you know that I love Snoop Dogg. You would also know that this is my all time favourite Snoop song. Forreal like when I watched Straight Outta Compton, I immediately knew it was Snoop before they showed his character and then he rapped Nuthin But A G Thang!!!! I was fangirling so hard!!! Anyways, that’s the reason why I needed this shirt.
