I have another short and sweet monthly favourites post for you guys. Can’t believe I’ve already written three of these! Also can’t believe that July is already over. I still have such a long list of things I still want to do before school starts and the fact that I haven’t been checking them off is giving me slight anxiety. Anyways, let me know what some of your favourites were for July, and check mine out as well 🙂
Tatcha Polished Gentle Rice Enzyme Powder
I got this as a free sample when I ordered stuff from Sephora a couple months ago, but never really got around to using it. I found it when I was reorganizing some things and decided to set it out and use it regularly and I am so glad I did. Although it hasn’t gotten rid of the texture around my face completely, I have noticed a dramatic difference in my problem areas. I use it every other night, and whenever I do, my skin really does feel smooth and polished. This product is very suitable for my skin because of the fact that it is so gentle and the powder is so finely milled, so if you are someone who needs or enjoys rougher exfoliation (is rougher the right word? LOL) then this may not be the product for you. However if you’re interested in this product, I know Tatcha has other rice powders formulated for different skin types (but GG to your wallet because the full size of this bad boy retails for $78!)
Cover FX Custom Enhancer Drops – Sunlight
I wrote about this briefly in my WalMart, Sephora and H&M Haul post. This is a game changer you guys. 99.9% of reviews you’ll come across of this product will say that these drops are like liquid metal and it’s true. I’ve really never seen anything like this. It is a true liquid and just catches the light so beautifully. My favourite ways to wear this have been as a highlight (of course) and then I’ll “set” it with Champagne Pop on top for a truly blinding glow, or I’ll mix a drop into my body lotion which leaves my arms and legs with a really pretty glow. It looks especially pretty in the sunlight because it looks natural -or as natural as sparkly arms can look lol- and not too glittery. The sparkle in this super fine which is why you could put this anywhere on your body and still have it look relatively normal. While this retails for $56CAD and you only get 0.5 oz, trust me when I say that this is worth it. It is so crazily pigmented that you could use half a drop and you would still get an INTENSE glow. It’ll last you a long time and it is such a versatile product.
This is a korean variety/reality show, where a bunch of korean celebrities all live in a home together and live like a family. I really enjoy watching this because some of my favourite korean celebrities are in it, and everyone’s chemistry and interactions are just so hilarious. This show has made me laugh really hard and surprisingly even tear up haha. if you’re interested, you can watch Roommate here. There are two seasons, but the second season is my favourite and I think it’s way more funny and entertaining than the first. And I’m sad because they don’t film this show anymore! What am I supposed to watch now!
Yes. I admit, I fell into the hype and got Pokémon Go. I’m not ashamed though, I used to love the show when I was a kid and the first gen Pokémon (which are currently the only ones you can catch in the game) are the only Pokémon I really know. I wouldn’t say I’m as addicted to the game as other people are but I do find myself playing this a lot in my free time because it’s so fun and nostalgic hehe.
